NASIMS is an acronym for – National Social Investment Management System. The website address for NASIMS is https://nasims.gov.ng/
NASIMS is an online system that manages the federal government’s National Social Investment Programs.
In 2015, the Buhari-led federal government in Nigeria created the program to provide resources for the most vulnerable members of society (children, youths, and women).
The program currently has four sub-programs. They are all managed by the NASIMS Portal. All four programs aim to address poverty and increase economic development.

The Four Main Programs in NASIMS Portal
1. N-Power
The N-Power scheme is undoubtedly the most popular on NASIMS. This program is for Nigerians aged between 18-35 years. The program aims to assist them in acquiring and developing “lifelong skills” that will allow them to be change-makers in their communities.
The N-Power program has sent over 500,000 graduates to various communities in Nigeria so far. The program serves as a community-sourced solution to the many underdeveloped public services sectors like healthcare, education, and civic engagement.
N-Agro is N-Power Teach, and N-Power Health are the subcategories of Npower.
2. Conditional cash transfer
This program targets the most vulnerable households across the country. This means that the program targets the most vulnerable households in the country.
The long-term goal is to lift millions of Nigerians from poverty.
This program was supported by over 2,495 community facilitators. As of 2018, more than 297,000 people had received it.
3. Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programs (GEEP).
The federal government also created the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Program, a government program on the NASIMS Portal. This program provides financial support and training to entrepreneurs and small businesses at the bottom of the economic pyramid.
The government offers low-cost microlending for economically vulnerable youths, women, and agricultural workers under this program. The government uses this program to help develop this sector, which has previously been low-productive. The program could also bring millions of people into modern economic life and lift communities from poverty.
The federal government has provided a grant of N140billion to the program, which will reach more than 200,000 artisans, MSMEs, 1,000,000 women, 260,000 youth-based businesses, and more than 200,000 farmers and agricultural workers.
4. National Home Grown School Feeding Program
The federal government NHGSFP (or The Home Grown School Feeding Program) provides a nutritious and balanced meal for over 5.5 million children in grades 1 through 3.
This program is designed to increase the number of primary school students and decrease dropout rates. The dropout rate in Nigeria is currently at more than 30%. This is often due to poverty. This program addresses the most basic needs of children at school.
The federal government also has established a link between the program and local supply chains in order to provide some social support to the residents. The program has helped more than 44,000 cooks prepare meals for over 4 million students across 26 states.
The program’s ultimate goal is to foster creativity and give students the nutrients they need to grow and educate while connecting local farmers with national and international markets.
The program empowers nearly everyone in the community in some way.

Additional NASIMS FAQs
How do I find out if I’ve been Shortlisted or Deployed on the NASIMS Portal.
Log in to your dashboard and click the deployment button to find out if you were deployed with the N Power batch.
If you have not been deployed, you will receive this response:
“Dear ______. You have not yet been deployed.” After the deployment date has been established, please check back to see the deployment information.
If you were Deployed, however, you would get this message.
“Congratulations ?
Dear _____, You have been appointed as Npower Batch__ Beneficiary.”
When I entered my Email Address, I did not receive the NASIMS Forgot Password link.
Do not panic if you receive a reply that a password reset link was sent to your email address after you reset your password via the NASIMS portal. Keep refreshing your mail and be patient.
It can take up to an hour for mail to reach your mailbox. Be patient.
Why does my email address return an “Account not found in NASIMS Login Portal error”?
It could be one of two things. It could be that you weren’t shortlisted.
Another possible reason is that you have entered a different email address than the one associated to your N-Power application. You can verify that it is the correct email address and then try again.
